Greenhouse Gardening

Green House Gardening...

Formula Liquid Sulfur

All living organisms require a supply of sulfur (or sulphur in the United Kingdom). Your greenhouse gardening require it for at least two major reasons:

It is the enzyme activator necessary for the plant to induct nitrogen
It is essential for the synthesis of proteins.

Soils low in sulfur (sulphur) frequently have the following characteristics:

· Low in organic matter
· Coarse in texture
· Have a high Ph

Formula Liquid Sulfur is a concentrate that is 100 percent water soluble and immediately available to your greenhouse gardening plant. It is derived from Ammonium Thiosulfate. Its analysis is 12-0-0-26. Consequently it packs a considerable nitrogen benefit as well.

It is important to supply plants with sulfur (sulphur) throughout the growing season. Not only is it an essential nutrient, its natural oxidation process gives the Ph control required by soil, and it aids in the removal of unwanted soil salts.

Typical application is two quarts per acre in a boom sprayer or center pivot, or 2 ounces per gallon of water in a pump sprayer. Applications should be repeated at least monthly throughout the growing season of your greenhouse gardening.
